The Sevener: 730i e32 '93

Some 3 years ago i was a proud owner of a BMW e34 525i with the M20 engine so
it has 12 valves.
It was a fine car and it was fast. It had 2 way air conditioning, cruise control
and it was a electro package.
But it was time 4 me to move on. So i sold it and i bought the sevener.
It's a 1993 730i e32, with a 3 litre V8 M60 engine with 218hp.
First it was silver (or better Granittgraumetallic) it had some dents on the driver
and passanger doors and the rear left lamp was broken.
The engine is running without problem even as we speak.
After 3 months or so the automatic gearbox broke down. So I spent some 1600 Euro
for a new one (a ZF5HP18 auto-gearbox).
And as i had my car done, the gears and the engine responded so well that one
evening ( it was raining heavy) I had an accident with my sevener.
It was simply sliding sideways and there was absolutely nothing that I could do.
After a month i decided to restore my sevener. And the product is the black sevener
as you can see here.
The color is original Mercedes-Benz S-class Pearl Black, and it is the most metallic
black on the market.
The interiour has black leather seats with butt-heating ;), and some wallnutt
wood decoration.
Electrical sun protection on the rear glass and on the rear doors, and it also
has ASR and PDC.
It has now over 400,000 km down and it runs just perfect.
Fuel consuption is now about 13-litres per 100km due to the tires which i have
now on the car.
In the front there are 235-45-17 and the rear tires are 255-40-17 (all Bridgestone
potenza's).
In total I spent some 6000 euro for the restauration on the sevener. But now it
is a beautyful car; it is a real head-turner.
