Evil well, this is just a what if question.small v8 chevy with automatic tranny to an 88 528e any suggestions or idea who could answer this? ? thanks? (newbie)? bigbill

as long as you have the cash to do it, it would be possible, but not really feasible

it could be done, but why ruin a bmw with an american engine
good luck to you though

i've seen an e30 with an sr20det(japanese 240sx motor), as well as the 2-jze motor(toyota supra engine)

I've seen an e30 with a Nissan RB20 turbo engine... it's all possible (especially with older, less electronically stuffed, bmw's)

yeah your right about that, if you were to say use an old carburated v8

you would end up saving alot of re-wiring and cash

but if your running a v-8(350??)

i would definately invest in a larger gas tank  Grin
