Could you explain to me why you would like to see a V6 in there? What is the plus about a V6 instead of the "normal" Inline 6? (sorry for not understanding, but I have to learn Smiley)

Well i don?t think there Will be a V6 engine in there. Bmw never had a V6 in series. The inline 6 c. Will have to do the job  Grin

There is no plus on the V6. V shape of the engine was mede becaouse of space under the hood. There is no more to it.

The new Engine that has been developed by BMW was introduced in Geneve.

It is a "INLINE" 6 C, BI-TURBO and it has original 3 litress.
It is an full Aloy engine, with gasoline direct injection.

225 kW / 306 PS. The maximum Torque is 400 Newtonmeter and the Torque is developed and held from 1500 to 5800 rpm. The engine can turn up to 7000 rpm.
It is also lighter for about 70 kg towards the V8 engine with simillar specs.
I think the engine mistery is solwed :-)

sorry about that mix up, heard from a friend that the engine was supposed to be a bi turbo(i asummed he meant twin), thats why i brought up the v6 engine, sorry about the mistake Embarrassed Cry
