I currently drive an Audi A6 and a 78 Alfa romeo spider, although i have a 86 BMW 325es with head problems that I'm not sure what i'm going to do with yet.

well since its an eta series i would definately look into swapping an i series motor in Roll Eyes

yeah, could do, but some people just want to keep their engine the way it is Wink....

ah, great pictures, especially the one of the spider in front of the old porsche!!!

The problem with the bmw is i broke the oil pan, got it fixed, drove about 15 miles to work with no problem and then on the way home about half a mile from my house the engine just started tapping like crazy, at first i thought there was a big diesel truck next to me but then noticed it was my car. We took the vavle cover off and everything appears to be getting oil ok. Were not sure what could be making it sound so bad.

hmm, hard to say without hearing the engine....

did you check to see if you valves were still adjusted to spec, umm, did any debris get sent into your oil pan when it broke, what kind of oil are you using, were you driving the car when the oil pan broke, and if so did you drive long before realizing...
