I'm moving back to the US from Europe and I'd really like a diesel. I know about the 3 and x5 intentions (i.e. have them on sale in 2008), but does anyone know where BMW is in the project and how long I'd have to wait for the x5 or 5xx? I'm ready to put in a deposit, but I'm still in Finland and won't be there until July.
