I'm trying to find a trailer hitch mount for a 2008 335 convertible.  I plan to use this for a hitch mounted bike rack, but never expect to tow anything with it.  Has anybody found one that fits the 335? Thanks in advance.

BMW can supply you with a bike rack for your 335, I think it's part number 82-72-0-393-083

Thanks, though I already have a hitch-mounted rack for another car, so I would prefer to go the much-less-expensive route of just finding a hitch receiver that fits the car. The BMW rack ends up costing more than $1000 as it requires BMW's own hitch to mount it (BMW's hitch, by the way, has a nice hidden design, but it has a fixed "ball" mount so, for my application, which requires a hitch receiver mount, it doesn't work).

Ok, I understand...
Something like this for your e93?
You could try etrailer (like the guy at e90post.com, but that's for a 3series touring).
Other thing you can try is emailing your question to info@bavauto.com (Bavarian Autosport), they sell BMW trailer hitches.
Or you could buy the e90 version and modify it yourself.

Don't think there is another way, at least not yet online...
If I get more info, I'll let you know.

Thanks. Yes, the hitch receiver shown in your "this" link is exactly what I am looking for (but for a 335). If you find out anything else, please let me know; in the meantime, you've at least given me a good place to start looking. Much appreciated.
