The BMW that I puchased runs great but there are a few problems with it:

1)  When ever I turn the stearing wheel the stearing columb clicks like it is turning off the turning signal, even when the blinker is not on.
2)  The brake light is on, but it is yellow.  I checked the brake fluid and it is fine.  Could it have anything to do with new brakes on the rear end?
3)  The DSC light is also on.  The seller told me that it came on after the brakes were changed, is there a way to reset the light, or is there something that needs to be fixed.

Could someone tell me how to fix these problems?

Hi and welcome,
Don't know where you bought the BMW, but seems that it's not from a BMW-dealer.

The steering wheel, if there is a click in it, might it be that the plastic cover has been removed and put on again? Maybe it's not put on straight... You could open it up and turn the wheel to see if it's still making the noise.
About the second one, the brake light warning. It seems that there is a problem with your (new?) brake pads... Check them out, and check if the sensors are placed right...
The third one might be a bigger problem. It seems that your DSC isn't working properly. You might be best of to bring the car back to the dealer where you bought it and tell him/her to check the car out. If they sell you a car, they should sell it in fine condition. It can be just a minor problem, but could be a bigger thing. Bring it back, tell em to check it out and fix it.

Hope you'll get it all sorted out!

i'm not to familiar with newer bmws, but the lights that are on are most likely due to the brake pad sensors not being replaced when the brake pads were changed

it's a common thing most people will cut the sensors not realizing how cheap they are (around 17 each, you'll usually need 2, 1 for the front and 1 for the back)

quick way to find out is to jack up the car remove the tire and check the condition of the pads, and see if the sensors are still there

let us know how it goes
