This is a very reluctant sale, but I've just bought my all time classic BMW (E30 M3i) and want to put this car back to A1 condition, but my Wife (Audi A4 Quattro Driver) has insisted that one or the other has to go, or she will (I would let her, but I'm no use at ironing)

I've not taken any photo's of the actual car as yet, but will do when I have given it a good clean. I would be happy for you to promote my sale in whatever way you can through the site.

I have been a car nut for many years now and have lost count of how many cars I have owned. To date, I estimate that I have bought and sold at least 50 cars, amongst these were 7 BMW's, with the 320si being the only brand new car I have ever owned and the most expensive. The 320si was not my initial choice of purchase, as I was intially intending to buy the Alpina D3, but this was until I was informed that it's initial limited edition status was being dealt a severe blow by the addition of a 'Touring' version and an increase in the original 2500 units being produced. As both models were to be roughly the same price, I decided to go for the 320si, as it was guaranteed that only 500 were to be imported into the UK, which in turn would therefore protect it's residual value. But this was all before I came across my current M3.

My most recent purchase was my ultimate 1989 'G' registered LHD E30 M3i. To obtain this car I traded my immaculate Lancia Delta Integrale Evo 1, which I bought in March this year on Ebay. The M3 has a few issues at present, one being the reluctance of the clutch pedal to return to it's starting position when changing gear. I am led to believe that the primary cause of this is the Clutch Slave or Mater Cylinders, so I am currently having these replaced at my local garage, as my mechanical skills are more than a little suspect. The 2nd issue relates to the current Scorpion Exhaust and the noise levels it's putting out, so if you know of an exhaust system that will give the M3 a nice tone, please let me know. The remaining issues relate to upholstery and the cars non standard ICE, both of which are cosmetic touches that I will address during the next 6-12 months.

I am happy for people to contact me either by e-mail - davejoywalker@aol.com or on my mobile - 07764 470795, but would appreciate agencies or trade papers from
offering their services.

Sorry for my late reply, but my computers power supply died last week.

Sounds like you've had a great deal of great cars, and you're in to exclusive.
The M3 e30 is one of the greatest BMW's ever built, would love to own one some day, but don't think that time is going to come soon. As for the clutch, my dad had a 320i e30, and that had the same problem (was caused by the clutch-master-cylinder I think...).
About an M3 exhaust, how about a genuine BMW M3 exhaust? Why mess with those big ugly awfully sounding exhausts (you're not driving a golf or civic).

Any probs with the M3 or any other car, just post em here.
About the selling of the 320si, send me a mail with info and pics, and I'll put it up (I will be able to read my mail within the next couple of days, haven't read it in 7 days now, since my computer is dead)

Looking forward to seeing the 320si and the m3 (especially the m3),
take care
