We just purchased a 2000 328ci. The little indicator light beside  park, stays on after the ignition is turned off. Is this normal? There's nothing in the manual and it doesn't appear to be affecting anything, but its a bit annoying. Any ideas?

Hi Charlie,
did a little bit of searching around.
Some dealer said it'll go out after 15 mins (but then the owner said it just kept on).
Other ppl have the same 'problem', and it'll just stay on.
Don't worry about it too much, it's a LED, so it won't use a lot of power and won't break.
If you really want it to turn off, maybe a trip to the BMW dealer will help.

hmm instead you can always throw some electical tape on to cover the light, lol
